The carrier is a must see for anyone into history and military stuff. It was amazing how they built all this 80 years ago. If you are visiting the area, go check it out.

I visited the USS Hornet Museum on Juneneeth [June 19] 2025 with my brother/friend. We saw and learned about some of the events that characterized the WW II and United States' military prowess. It was an awesome eXperience.

If you're into Naval Aviation history this is a great experience and well worth the money. Great for adults and children alike. You can roam freely throughout the ship on your own or take one of the four guided tours that start at 11:00 1:00 and 3:00.

Fantastic adventure. Very interesting. I know aircraft carriers are big but wow, this is gigantic. Plenty of helpful people around to answer questions. They offer some behind the scenes tours for an additional $12. Great place to bring the kids.
