Tucked in the shadows of the Uwharrie Mountains, Uwharrie Vineyards & Winery acts as a scenic oasis for wine lovers looking to enjoy the fruits of the vineyard. The 75-acre vineyard yields Uwharrie's distinct handcrafted wines, including reisling, merlot, and roughly 20 fruit wines. Visits promise more than just a taste of these wines, though; the grounds feature a 14,000 square-foot facility and scenic vineyards in addition to a tasting bar and gift shop.
