About Tony Gambino Photography

Tony Gambino bought his first camera, an all-manual model from the ‘70s, more than a decade ago. In the intervening years, he has studied under award-winning wedding photographer David Lynch and has documented his travels across Japan's, Europe's, and Australia's beaches. Today, Gambino specializes in portraiture and wedding photography, with an emphasis on shoots that bend natural light to broadcast a bride's radiance, make eyes twinkle with delight, or convey a sunset's rich flavors.

During the shooting section of the training, it would be fun to have exercises which Tony would have previously contemplated and prepared. These exercises would be for all to try out certain shooting modes/settings, and for them to see the product on their camera. For example, here is how to get strong Bokeh, here is how to have shadow on the side of the face, here is how to take a picture of the sunset with subjects in the foreground, etc. Then Tony would also have us do certain shots that demonstrate the importance of composition, and allow us to do the same and see it on our camera's so we can feel accomplished. He would have us move around, and shoot in several different positions and angles, and to decide which one got the best shot, and to understand why.
