Learned so much during this tour, even had the opportunity to dance at Gadsby's Tavern, to make sachet at the Apothecary, and to mingle with the British- attired soldiers outside the Carlyle house. The tour was well organized and informative and the Christmas adorned homes made it extra special.

We've lived in the DC area for more than 40 years, and never made it to tour the historical sights of Alexandria. The Candlelight tour was beautiful and informative. Since we arrive somewhat later than the start time, there were very few lines going into the houses. Well done, Alexandria, we will be back to tour the rest of your city.
