About Turning Point Show Stables

Turning Point Show Stables encompasses 30 acres of verdant rolling hills and trainers dedicated to grooming talented, well-rounded equestrians. New students first learn to tack up their horses before mounting up and practicing skills in the hunter/jumper style of English riding. They also get an education in grooming, horsemanship, and how to properly reward a horse. Turning Point also offers boarding and training overseen by head trainer, owner, and manager Sheryl MacLeod, who boasts more than 25 years of experience with horses.

They have caring and knowledgeable trainers The are good with elementary children and make it fun for them while at the same time they are learning, having fun, and yet they are controlling the horse My granddaughter loved having horseback lessons there and always looked forward to them fyi-look out for the biting horse flies in the barn, perhaps fly strips would help out with this Overall, great place for children who want to learn how to ride and take care of horses

They give a lot of info about riding with the horse which I found very helpful. Definitely would recommend this stable.

Turning Point Show Stables has given me confidence in my riding. Mallory and Sheryl were firm and sensitive in their instructions. They were able to see some simple changes in my hands and posture that made my riding more smooth and comfortable. If my mount, Hermes, could speak English, I'm sure he would agree. The stable personnel were helpful and attentive to their horse's needs and physical condition. I would highly recommend Turning point to anyone troubleshooting their equitation.
