About EAT STREET Culinary

The talent behind Eat Street Culinary starts with founder Chef Katie Averill, an experienced culinary artist in her own right, and an instructor of executive chefs in hot line, pastries, and other areas of cuisine. After graduating from the California Culinary Academy, Chef Averill worked in upscale restaurants under several celebrity chefs such as Charlie Palmer, Gary Danko, and Todd English.

Eat Street Culinary's cooking classes cover topics from French cuisine to fresh-baked breads. The pasta-making class shares the secrets to making pasta from scratch by using homemade dough and sweet-based classes cover everything from chocolate making to cake decorating. A selection of international classes such as Night in Spain and Night in Paris teach students the art of crafting unique dishes from around the world. Each class provides a fulfilling experience for students, regardless of their skill level.

This place is my favorite cooking class cause you get your own stove or share with your partner or a friend and full hands on. Chef Katy is very sweet & easy going! She's also a great chef!

This was so fun and I learned a lot! Definitely not boring. I did feel a little weird that I was by myself (everyone else came with a partner/group) but oh well! I'm looking forward to going back for a 2nd class.

Fantastic experience!! Katie, the owner, is an amazing chef and a very good teacher. The location is very convenient, with lots of room for everyone (individual stations). Provided ingredients are of excellent quality. We went for a Paris Date Night and had a wonderful time cooking great food (including a delicious chocolate souffle!) and meeting fun people! We certainly are looking forward to trying all the other classes at Eat Street Culinary!!

The chef appeared drunk or on something when we arrived and she was way too touchy with all of us (very uncomfortable). Finally we were provided recipes, but not one cooking skill. I will not go back.
