McGinley's Pub certainly boasts a bit of old Irish influence in its menu and decor. But, like any true pub, it spends just as much time celebrating local culture. The decade-old eatery continually showcases live, local musicians on the weekends. A classic Irish meal of shepherd's pie or fish and chips might come with an appetizer of fresh-baked hand rolled giant pretzel. The taps, too, represent a blend of Irish and Alaska: they feature Guinness and locally brewed Alaskan amber ale side-by-side.
