get there in plenty of time as they transport you in golf carts to the dock so only a few at a time

Be sure to get your entry charge voucher at the gate when you pay the entry fee. I didn't receive one, but a crew member still gave me a discount for the mix-up .

Get there early! The parking lot is at least 3/4 mile from the Marina, and you have to wait for the next golf cart shuttle (with around 5 seats) to pick you up and take you to the Marina. The tour itself is enjoyable, with good views and interesting narration about the lake, the dam and the wildlife.

Very enjoyable trip. We learned many fascinating facts about Arizona. The captain took the ship close to the shore where some wild donkeys were grazing, which afforded us a better view.
