About Apopka Aviation & Flight Services

For most of Apopka Aviation & Flight Services' certified instructors, a passion for flying set in early. Take owner Jason Almeter, for example. He started flying when he was just 14 years old, and went on to earn a bachelors in aviation management.

The team's main goal is to hand the controls over to others, where one person flies and the other observes. To this end, they teach classes in aviation, helping fliers to obtain their sport and private licenses. From there, more experienced pilots can obtain their multi-engine ratings, or rent out space in the airport's hanger for their plane or high-maintenance horse.
