About Pines of Italy

Even from the outside, Pines of Italy appears distinctly Italian. Terra cotta walls and hanging plants embellish the exterior of the eatery, conjuring the image of a postcard from the Mediterranean country. Inside, aromas from the kitchen waft toward tables and the noses of hungry diners. The scents are courtesy of Pines of Italy's new chef, who whips up classic dishes including chicken parmesan, fettuccine alfredo with grilled shrimp, and gnocchi with meat sauce. Along with mouthwatering cuisine, the chef and the staff also cultivate a family atmosphere not found at fast food restaurants or inside a dangerous cave where exotic berries grow.

If you go and it's a slow night, be prepared to possibly have the waiter talk your ears off and not leave your side. When we went we were quite literally the ONLY customers there, and because things were so slow, I guess the waiter was bored because he stayed with us and talked and talked and talked!! (We now know EVERYTHING about him that we possibly could or would want to know -- and then some!!) But my boyfriend liked the place and thought that the food was good. He especially LOVED the bruschetta and said that it was excellent. I thought that the food was o. k. too.
