I came into the 2.5 hour casting class with zero fly fishing experience. Mike was super patient and helpful, and I booked a second class right away. Definitely recommend them, and look forward to doing a full day class soon!

Excellent instruction with one on one suggestions. Provided the knowledge I needed to start fly fishing right away and a practice session to make sure I understood what I was being told to do.

It was a great class! The location was a bit far for us though.

Mike was a great instructor. I had come into this class with a small amount of experience and knowledge with my spey casting. He was able to teach me the double spey, help my snap T, and also offer knowledge related to fly fishing in general. I would suggest just a bit more time on the water working actual casts, but overall a great course.

Purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend & it completely sparked his interest in fly fishing! I don't think he ever would have tried it without this class, even though he had all the gear ;)

My daughter and I had an excellent experience with Dickson Flyfishing. We had no experience at all with fly fishing going into the class and by the end of the 2.5 hours of instruction we both not only felt confident that we could go out on our own but could hardly wait to go. Mike Dickson is a great teacher and I was impressed and found very helpful the large amount of information he gave us about all aspects of fly fishing. I would highly recommend them.
