FUN NIGHT OUT.
The owner was so nice and the wine tasting was fun and educational. The cheese and crackers were generous as well.
Great evening out, will consider using for parties in the future.
We had a really fun time! It was a good deal. I liked the first half of the wine selections but not the sweet fruit wines from Nashville, although some people love those, usually not experienced palates. I would suggest only including one sweet wine per tasting though in the future. The only drawback was It was very cold in the store, so we couldn't take our coats off and really relax. But the store is very well decorated and nice ambience. There was a wide variety of people there so we had a great time and would definitely go back.
The wine was good but nothing special, and the cheese was just for munching which was fine but not what I expected. Overall it was a pleasant evening but I don't think it was anything unique enough to go back.
It was enjoyable, though it was a little packed (something had messed up the reservations and there were more people who came than who could fit in the shop).
I really enjoyed the couple that hosted buy the ambiance was not fitting for a wine tasting. Fold chairs, ugly table cloths, cheese & crackers on paper plates. I think they have the right idea but need to work on their presentation.
Set up not very professional. Very limited education on provided samples. No sign of pride or passion about the business
This was what I would consider a very, very informal wine tasting. We were seated at a coffee table but I was on a stool, the cheese was not officially paired with the wines and came on a paper plate, etc. Tthe wines were of average quality. As compared to other tastings we have done across the country, Boutier certainly needs to up their game. We are the kind of couple that would have been repeat customers if we had a better experience. I won't unfortunately be back.
This place is for beginner wine drinkers. Wouldn't recommend for avid wine drinkers.
