About Homewood Farm

At the 177-acre expanse known as Homewood Farm, spaniels Maple and Dot can often be found bounding between cows, directing sheep, or carrying small pumpkins in their mouths for no other reason than a genuine love of having fun. To show their appreciation for these joyful pups, Homewood Farm owners Jeff and Trudy Beardsworth designed and carved out a corn maze to resemble the floppy ears and cartoony noses of their two dogs. In fall, families can spend entire days exploring these trails, petting the farm's family of piglets, calves, and ducks and selecting a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Guests may take these orange gourds home to carve into jack-o’-lanterns, or they can try launching them toward the Camden hills with the family’s medieval pumpkin launcher.
