lots of fun. We saw several orca whales. I should have worn sunscreen. I would advise sunglasses and a sunhat and dress in layers. My husband and I had the best day!

This was a fantastic tour! We followed a pod of Orcas and saw a hump back whale, plus other sea creatures. The tour guide was exceptional, he was very knowledgeable and funny! It was just great!

Take warm clothes and maybe dress in layers. Bring snacks and or sandwiches as there is a limited menu of items on board. Do not bring babies. There were several on our trip and they get tired and bored.

Take along a hooded sweatshirt and/or a windbreaker jacket as it is always cooler out on the water than it is on land

Fabulous trip. The naturalist that guides the tour is super knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He sounds like he lives & breathes this stuff and not like he had memorized a cheesy script (like some other tours I've been on). The captain did a great job of finding wildlife and took great care to make sure everyone was comfortable & not seasick. I would recommend bringing your own food. They have okay hotdogs, burgers and a bunch of snack foods. I didn't try the soup but others around me said it tasted burnt. I whole heartedly recommend using this group, just bring your own food.

We saw suggestions of bringing our own lunch, but after smelling a delicious Salish Stew simmering in a pot in the galley I rather regretted the sandwiches we had brought...'bottomless' coffee was available, chips, sweets, and snacks were for sale. Put on your sunscreen before you get there, and prepare for the temperature drop and wind chill when you clear the harbor! DO bring jackets! (We were there Sept. 10th) A hat with a neck cord is highly recommended! Binoculars can be borrowed during the cruise! We saw several orcas, porpoises, seals, and diving ducks, set in lovely Bellingham Bay, with islands and Mt. Baker visible in the distance. An informative narrative was provided by a Naturalist and the captain also commented on life and history of the area and bay. Enjoyed it so much! DO NOT PLAN ON LETTING YOUR LITTLE KIDS RUN AROUND LOOSE ON BOARD!!!!
