About Guidestone

Guidestone works to equip and empower children and families to reach their full potentials, driven by its faith-based vision of creating strong communities where future generations are self-reliant, educated, and fulfilled. Its programs—designed particularly to help children and families in need—help preserve family relationships and aim to reduce the need for future interventions by courts or social services. For instance, the MomsFirst program assists new mothers, including those currently in jail, living in shelters, or participating in rehab, with health and social-service needs such as parenting classes or birth control. Other programs include case management for children dealing with the local juvenile court.
