Everything went smoothly- Luxoptics was able to get me into the Chevy Chase location super smoothly (as in, I made the appointment Friday night for Saturday morning and they called to confirm Saturday morning!), Dr. Gold was kind and seemed very knowledgeable (repeating what I heard because it was true: there's no tricks and nothing hurts!). I am waiting for my contacts (we had to order them), and I'm really excited to be able to see again. The staff was super friendly and patient (I am the person who arrives to early, is 50/50 with technology, and a little quiet/quirky- they were still nice!). Looking forward (pun intended) to getting my contacts!

Dr. Lippman was very experienced and wise doctor. They seem to have a unique set of frames too.

Huge selection of glasses, way more than any other place i have been to. The staff is so nice, and instantly remembered your name. I hate wearing these glasses, but i guess i need them, so this is the place to go for all eye care needs!

They were thorough in the eye exam and took a lot of time helping me select frames and the best type of lenses for my prescription. I really like that they grind the lenses in house rather than having to send them out and wait for them to get sent back.

The girl that works there is supernoceand doc is fast. The frame selection is dated and over priced.

Overall I had a very positive experience in the Eyecare Center. At the very first time when I peeked in they haven't kicked me out even though they were about to close. All workers were really kind and friendly, they were also very patient and helpful in picking the right lenses and frame. During my eye exam it was pointed out that my severe headache could be due to ocular migraine. Only negative thing was that I had to wait for the glasses much longer than I was originally told.

Service was quick and I felt the staff knew what they were doing. I came away with a lovely pair of eyeglasses and am very satisfied with my visit.
