Q&A with Whitney, General Manager

I'm a first-timer. How do you get me ready for the experience?

As a first timer scuba diving, we understand there can be some anxiety. That's why we like to go over everything with you before you start class to make sure you feel comfortable. We will discuss items such as course topics, scheduling, equipment needed and activities you can participate in after you become a certified diver. Our main goal is for you to become a confident and safe diver, all while having fun and opening yourself to a whole new world of adventure.

What is the one feature of your business that you're most proud of?

We offer free annual inspections on your scuba gear when you purchase a new item from us which not many companies do. With this free inspection you will always know that your scuba gear will be working properly and safely.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

We have a great program called the Dive Society which we highly recommend [for] new divers. It is a group of divers who head out on shore dives Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings May–October. This is a great way to practice your skills, get to know the local diving scene, and meet new people to dive with. These dives are always led by one of our certified Dive Masters or Instructors.
