It's a little gem of a museum, with beautiful grounds to wander as well.

The museum isn't large, so you should be able to see all of it while taking your time and be out of there in under an hour and a half. I'd recommend walking the grounds and also checking out the mansion and gardens (when in season) while you're there.

Small museum - expect to spend 3 hours at most, and that would require lingering over every exhibit. Not much for kids under 12yo. Beautiful property, it is free to walk around. I recommend attending during warmer months - roam the grounds and enjoy the sculptures and gardens.

You may also want to plan time for the science museum nearby, separate admission.

Be sure to allow time for all of the exhibits. We went there for the Warhol exhibit but enjoyed the other exhibits as well.

Find an exhibition that interests you. The Warhol album art exhibit was very nicely done and included listening opportunities.

The Museum was nice! Staff was extremely informative and friendly. The Cranbrook grounds are absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would recommend is going on a warmer day if you're coming from away to fully enjoy the grounds in addition to museum
