Elite6ops’ unique laser tag experience provides players with a close-to-life simulation of a real shoot out. The staff equips players with realistic-looking weapons based on actual firearms. Each gun is weighted similarly to its real life counterpart, provides simulated recoil, and fires a number of shots equal to the weapon they imitate before needing to be reloaded. Competitors wear vests that light up when a player has been shot (also shutting down their rifle). For an additional layer or realism, players can opt for the StressX shock belt that delivers a harmless-yet-uncomfortable jolt of electricity when shot, simulating the real-life stress of battle. The playfield, “Alpha City,” is a 10,000 square foot space designed by Hollywood set designers and includes a gas station, a bank, a gym, civilian homes, and a two-story city center. The variety of buildings gives players a multitude of options for strategizing with their team through each mission. The realism of the system is not just for fun. Military organizations and local police departments utilize the technology to help train for real life scenarios.
