What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our mission is to make REAL. GOOD. FOOD. convenient for everyone in our area. Most of us do not have time to make it out to several farms or markets every week to stock our home with local, natural (GMO free) and organic foods. We offer one time and standing order options.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to serve our customers! It is inspiring to know that by delivering only REAL. GOOD. FOOD we part of our customers healthy lifestyle. We also love to support our local farms, ranches and foods artisans.

I had some problems signing up on their website - I'm sure it was operator error. Rachel was very helpful in navigating me through my problems. My first delivery is this week so I haven't tried their product yet. I'm sure their produce will be as good as their service!

From the moment I made my first order, the folks at Brown Box Organics have been tremendously friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to my questions. Their web store is easy to use and allows customers to see what items are on the menu each week. They also have a good selection of other local and organic products (think local meat and Ballard cheese!) for less than you would pay at Whole Foods or the Co-Op. So far I'm impressed. And I am grateful to be supporting a (mostly) local food economy.

I have only received one delivery so far, but they left a lot of goodies, I was pleasantly surprised. All of the products were fresh and organic. It was nice to have them delivered because I am a full time working mother and grocery shopping, although essential, can be time consuming. It is also hard to find fresh organic products unless you split your shopping between different stores or go to the Boise Co-Op (We live in Nampa).
