About Beantown Pub Crawls

Beantown Pub Crawls commemorates the joy of the holidays with a few good beers and some celebratory strolls through Boston. Bringing revelers to some of the city's most beloved watering holes, Beantown's organized crawls ensure that holidays—including Valentine's Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Christmas—can be celebrated on more than just one day. The Ugly Sweater Crawl encourages participants to don tastelessly festive threads as they help raise money for Toys for Tots, and previous events, such as Halloween's Costume Crawl, have involved significantly more outlandish duds.

Misleading information about entry to certain bars, like Hong Kong. They tried to charge us again for a cover fee, even though it should have been included.

Fun but too busy. Meant nothing to have a bracelet to cut lines. Everyone had bracelets so you waited in a bar line for 30+ minutes

The 'deals' offered by the bars in the crawl were terrible (only one beer for cheap at the first bar). The bars in this crawl were also very small for our large group. I wouldn't recommend this bar crawl to anyone.

Good, cheap, idea, horrible in practice. We actually did not get a single drink on this crawl. By the time we were able to actually get in a bar (they were TERRIBLY crowded and long lines), the bar crawl times were "over" (7:35pm and 9pm, at two different places??) and we were charged a $10 cover anyways. The bars claimed that the times advertised by the Crawl were wrong.

"Line privileges" and "drink specials" are gimmicks. Most bars have no cover until nine and the "specials" are just general specials the bars have anyway (not that you can have true drink specials in Boston). Don't spend your money on this. Just find a bar and post up early. OR spend more money on a proper bar crawl.

Every bar was so packed we couldn't get privileges that came with the bracelet. Never again.

The list of bars advertised was not consistent with the much shorter list presented at the actual event. Food and drink specials as well as lime privileges were advertised but none of these were actually available to participants. Overall there was really no reason to pay for a wristband that got you absolutely nothing.

Unorganized. At the 2nd bar they didn't even announce when the crawl was leaving so missed out on bars 3-6. Had to wait in the general line at each bar also so half the time was spent waiting in lines with others, not in the bar. Wouldn't do it again.

Didn't need the wristband to get into a lot of places. Was a waste of money and could have been used for alcohol and food
