• Sushi bar: After selecting from a menu of nearly 50 maki, guests who pull up a chair to the sushi bar can watch their elaborate creations taking shape. Chefs belong to the maximalist school of sushi-making, and their rolls often pile as many ingredients on top as they hold inside.
• Teppanyaki grill: If you’re in the mood for a show—and especially if your party includes kids—gather around the tables with the big griddles in the center. A chef will show up to entertain the group as he cooks, demonstrating feats such as setting an onion aflame and flipping morsels of meat and veggies high into the air.
