About Brookwoods Country Club

The 18-hole layout at Brookwoods Country Club plows through a verdant landscape, highlighted by dense swaths of trees and small ponds. The course was built back in 1928 by architect Geoffrey Cornish, and since then has hosted a number of major competitions. Among these are the US Women's Open Qualifier, a US Amateur Qualifier, and multiple RDGA Championships, to say nothing of the numerous friendly wagers and 5-iron sword fights the course has seen throughout the years.

Course at a Glance:

  • 18-hole, par 72 course
  • Total length of 6,806 yards from the back tees
  • Four sets of tees per hole

The only negative is that the cart paths need a lot of work.

Go before the leaves start to drop. We went at the end of season last year and vowed to go back this year during the summer. We were not disappointed! It's a course with challenges for all players. I would go back and recommend this course to others!

Green speeds (too slow), shave down the tee boxes. Course could be beautiful and worth the $50/weekend mornings
