Good food, fast service.

We've been eating at Speedy Gonzales for at least 15 years. I don't remeber EVER getting a bad meal. The Mexi-CAli Quesadilla is one of the best Mexican dishes I've ever eaten, anywhere. Every time I've gotten a quesadilla anywhere else, it has been a big disappointment. The service is always very good to excellent, the management is very friendly, and normally even when the place is packed, they are able to serve you in just a few minutes. The chips are thin, homemade and delicious, as is the salsa. We ordered a large guacamole saladThe fajitas are the best anywhere, I especially like the 3 Amigo's which include any 3 choices of sausage, shrimp, grilled chicken or steak. The servings are very generous, tonight we ended up bringing about half our food home. They have numerous specials, like Enchilada dinners for $5 bucks all day on Wednesdays, lunch specials every day, etc. I think Speedy's has the best Mexican food in Oklahoma. They consistently deliver high quality food at such low prices.

Only concern- couldnt get the meal I wanted as it was a "special" that day- even though I offered to pay full price. Also, after ordering, was told I couldnt use two certificates unless order was split so had to wait almost 10 minutes while she split the ticket- why go to all that trouble when it came out the same??

At first they seemed a little cold when I came in with the coupon, but after we ordered and sat down, they were very nice. The food was hot and tasted really good. They served good portion for the cost. I definitely will be going back.

Be prepared to eat every bite. The menu is expansive and totally delicious. And always affordable.

They close kind of early like 8 during the week. So don't go too late!

The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were large too! Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a long time! We will be back again soon! It really impresses me when the food actually has flavor and not like most restaurants where everything tastes the same LOL Bravo to the Chef!

go very hungry. The food is fresh and the plates are huge oval shape platters. And the cinnamon chips at the counter are unbelievable good and they go fast! If you want them - get them - don't wait until you are ready to leave.
