About Select Fair NYC

A celebration of contemporary art, Select Fair inspires wonder and imagination during stops in Miami Beach and New York City. The Fair's visit to the Big Apple––scheduled to coincide with Frieze Fair––spreads before eyes a visual buffet of 44 booths exclusive to contemporary galleries and print publishers. In order to create a platform for new ideas, participating artists must also dedicate part of their booths to new media, conceptual, or progressive works. The whole scene unfolds on two levels of the historic Altman Building, a Chelsea landmark whose flexible open-floor plan can host everything from expansive art shows to indoor snowball fights.
