The history in this place was awesome. Each war the American Navy was part of was highlighted throughout this museum either in the building or on the ships. The only problem was the parking. It wasn't clear where to park and there was no direction to the paid parking or the museum parking. A couple parked in the same parking lot had been towed. Thankfully, we must have been in the right spot.

We attended the tour in August of 2019 and we absolutely loved it. My 2 boys, 10 & 7, had a great time going through and looking at all the different war memorabilia. My husband also enjoyed all the different item. You definitely need to plan on being there a few hours. There's no way to get through 2 ships and a submarine quickly.
P.S. The stairs down to the submarine from the ship are steep/over water and the only way to avoid them is to walk all the way back through the ships. Which I did.

always a treat... very entertaining, so much to see, you're always sure to see something you missed from prior visit...there is always someone willing to answer any questions, and sure to provide a story... great family fun, such a valuable treasure to have here in Buffalo.

Touring the ships was amazing. Submarine wasn't open due to weather. Informative military displays honoring all branches of military in the center and throughout the ships.
Very educational. Wonderful tribute to all that have served.
