It was good experience. If you are with Children it's better

The special events are magical. It's a great location for young families and anyone interested in local history or even costume and stage design. The costumes and decorations are very creative and I can't wait to see the theme for Christmas.

Halloween was well done - not too scary for my Grandchildren.. spent a wonderful 2 hours

Attended the Haunted Halloween festivities and they were excellent. The victorian-steampunk-corvus theme was very clever. The decor was great, very creative, or should i say 'crow-ative'?! Caw, caw! I especially enjoyed the peculiar Blacksmith, who practiced his craft while spinning spooky tales. And the little theatre was particularly eerie and the odd film playing heightened that sense. The carousel is amazing (and fun!), and the 'local residents' of the Village were a wealth of interesting knowledge. I discovered that there is also a ghost tour for the 18 yr+ crowd after 9:00 pm, which sounds intriguing! I do plan to visit the Village during regular visiting hours, and I have heard that Christmas is wonderful! I highly recommend Burnaby Village Museum. (Age range: 45-55).
