Our instructor payed more attention to the girls in our class. It was my son's first time and he did not know how to do anything and he had to keep asking her how to do each activity. She never to the initiative to guide him through any and when he asked repeatedly it took awhile for her to pay attention to him b/c she was focused on the 3 other girls. He is very assertive and outspoken so it was not a matter of him being shy or anything like that. He just wanted some guidance. Nice, but wish she would have acknowledged he was new and given him a little extra attention on his first day. He still enjoyed it very much regardless.

Since my daughter is new, it would be nice to see teachers helping to actually "teach" the skills - not just show them once and then tell them to do it. I realize that there are a lot of different levels of ability in each class, but someone with no prior gymnastics experiences needs to actually learn how to do the moves properly to be safe and to practice outside of class correctly with proper form. Thanks
