Pricey, but if you eat in the bar ("Tavern") portion, the prices are half and you get the same food.

The food, atmosphere and waitstaff are amazing but my most recent visit was not the best. Due to a full-house, I sat at the bar. Staff very friendly and attentive, ordered their fantastic lobster bisque soup and then the wedge salad, heavy with Maytag blue cheese and bacon. Then began the long, unexpected wait for my hamburger. The staff was apologetic but after nearly an hour and a half, it just became silly. How could a hamburger take so long? Bar traffic thinned out and the dining room got quieter but still no hamburger. Finally someone from the staff offered to comp my meal but since it was on a coupon, not really necessary. They wound up giving me a gift card for another visit as an apology. No explanation for so much delay. I'm sure the order must have gone astray in the kitchen. I decided to take the order "to go" and relax in my own home. The meal was good but certainly not as good as it might have been had it been served in the restaurant, right off the grill. I'm hoping this was a rare and not to be repeated experience with Jimmy V's.
