Navigated by a commercially-licensed pilot with over 30 years of experience, the giant hot-air balloons of Balloon Depot float up into the sky just after dawn or just before dusk—the times when the air is stillest. Having navigated the picturesque valleys of Puget Sound since 1978, Balloon Depot has hoisted countless couples, families, and groups up into the sky under the colorful dome of the balloon. Launch and landing sites may vary depending on the weather—since pilots rely on the breeze to propel the balloons across the landscape—so each flight is totally unique.
