If it weren’t for father-son duo Alan and Chuck Bush, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop might’ve closed its doors permanently in 2003. Instead, the two bought the restaurant from its then-owner, transforming the flagship Fort Worth location from faltering to bustling. They slowly started to franchise locations across the country, and now 60 restaurants dot 11 states. Each one serves up a menu of Baja-style Mexican food, including jumbo burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas.

Their breakfast tacos are fantastic and served all day! I also like their spicy pork tacos, only skip the shredded iceberg lettuce. It has a funky after flavor that doesn't add anything to the deliciousness of the spicy pork. Their fried craw-fish taco was disappointing. Over fried and a really tiny portion, but the tempura fish taco was tasty. Again, skip the iceberg lettuce and the shredded cheese. They don't add anything to the flavor, but the feta has a nice tang to it and complements the garlic sauce. Prices are reasonable and the place has a very casual atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends. There's a little something for everyone.

The chorizo was pretty mild, I'd prefer a stronger chorizo in the tacos/burritos. The rice tasted like it was straight from the box, fresh rice would be a much better. But all in all, we liked it.
