The Ice Cream Race's all-ages 5K course celebrates sweetness by alternating jogs with sundae-themed obstacles such as a chocolate-syrup slide, banana peel pit and foam-like whipped cream. Individuals or families can compete, not just to finish the race, but also to take titles such as Wildest Costume or Muddiest Runner. A portion of the proceeds are donated to The Fisher House.

it was fun. a bit pricey for what you get. need swag! or a medal! and the shirts at the end should NOT be white. mine is forever stained from the mud/chocolate syrup.

this race will be fun, rain or shine. the rain can make it much more like a mud run and add to the dirty fun. it's extremely child friendly and beginner racers, not for competitors. a little more free give aways would be nice, but it still had a decent amount of freebies. the ice cream cone at the end is a must keep for future races!

The ice cream race was awesome family fun. My children loved jumping in the mud and sliding down the slides. Can't wait till next year!!!

You could tell this was the first race put on as there seemed to be a lot of kinks to work out. It was definitely more of a obstacle course than a race. I may look into changing the name. The crowds should have been better controlled. I had to wait to go down one slide to keep running for 20 minutes. I also got hurt going down the first slide. It was very rough and you had no time built in to slow down. The people in charge did not watch to make sure people went down timely and I was about to stand up as someone came down and crashed into me. I definitely think this race could be fun but there needs to be some work.
