Angie (hygienist) was great! I had no idea I was going to get a facial along with a teeth cleaning. Bonus! ;-) She was very friendly, very professional, and good at what she does... as was the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Amber Hills Dental on Carefree does not provide quality care and is very costly. The dentist is wanted to give me a root canal when I really needed my gums fixed!

the office and staff are very professional and the services offered are top rate but the whole theme is to get you there for all your dental work. I understand this is why they make the offer but the prices of the services are very high and since I am a snow bird they do not present a savings to me or offer a reasonable alternative (40 c/dollar). Also they continue to call even after we have stated several times they are too expensive.

Due to scheduling restraints cleaning was rushed. Dentist has zero "bedside manner".

The dentist told me that I had a cavity that could not be filled without damage to the tooth because it was so large, then recommended a very expensive crown. I went to another dentist and he said it could easily be filled and it was so small that he was able to do so without any anesthesia for a very affordable price. He also discovered two other cavities between my teeth that were large and was able to fill them. These had gone unnoticed. The second dentist also offered much lower prices for crowns which could be completed on the same day in office. The price for crowns on Southern is ridiculous. I was also not happy with the way they were constantly trying to upsell services. The extra charge for fluoride was exorbitant and the bid they gave me for braces for my daughter was the most expensive I've ever seen. This place is obviously just out to make as much money as possible and ethics are not important
