About Riverwalk Festivals

The organizers at Riverwalk Festivals love food, music, and drink, and they've made a career of fusing all three into memorable events. The most recent incarnation of their celebration is the Riverwalk BBQ, Music, and Beer Festival, talking place at and around the Rawhide Western Town Steakhouse. While there's no river, per se, a scenic golf club and couple of nearby ponds provide a scenic backdrop, against which pitmasters and slow-roasters do their good work. Guests can sample the meats, along with craft beers and live music, on into the evening hours.

Don't wear sandals you'll be walking and lots of dirt and dust and make sure you bring five dollars for parking it is not free

It was disorganized, long lines and incorrect information not to mention you really didn't get to taste any wine as the few tickets you were provided with didn't allow for it and the samples were ridiculous. Don't recommend this event to anyone

It took an hour and a half to get in. There were very few food trucks and all but a couple were bbq. I had to pay an extra dollar to get a tiny Dixie cup full of bad wine. Terrible value. Very dissatisfied. Will never return to this venue.

Badly organized. I got the vip including 15 wine tasting tickets, which only allowed me to afford 2 little cups (5 oz) of wine. This was a mockery. Plus, I had to pay 5 dollars for parking and wait in line 52 min because the event was so inefficient

Horrible experience. Waited an hour to get in, no structure, under staffed, dysfunctional layout so frustrated last night. Last year was awesome, so I invited 12 friends and was completely embarrassed on how horrible the event was. Food trucks rocked
