Armies of robots march out of Science Cosmos's labs every single day, but they don’t pose much danger to humanity—even children can control them. Which they do. Using Lego kits, sensors, motors, and age-appropriate programming software elementary- and middle-school students fashion bots that interact with the world around them and carry out instructions. Beyond the robots, Science Cosmos’s educators lead several other classes in Programming (Python, Java, 3D Game Design), and Engineering. Additionally, courses in electronics using circuit boards or pneumatics or bridge engineering make Science Cosmos a place for children to "hang out" and get a well-rounded STEM education. Science Cosmos offers several camps and also an aftercare program with FREE pick up from Ashburn schools.
