About Mint Museum of Art

At its Uptown and Randolph locations, the Mint Museum of Art seeks to inspire the community through its diverse collection of international art and rotating exhibits. While visitors roam the halls, they'll spot paintings, prints, sculptures, and photographs covering a wide range of topics. The American Art wing takes onlookers on a visual journey back in time from the Colonial Era to World War II, and the Native American wing showcases pottery, baskets, and other pieces created by the native peoples of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Guatemala. The museum also hosts special events including lectures, painting classes, and even yoga classes, which are free to museum members.
