About The Academy of Etiquette & Charm Raleigh

Lashaune Tisdale, a graduate of the American School of Protocol, founded The Academy of Etiquette & Charm after recognizing a need for structure and civility in today's fast-changing world. Tisdale teaches kids and adults etiquette lessons on topics including formal dining, personal grooming, and public speaking. She offers lessons for individuals or groups, using curricula that incorporate verbal instruction and presentations with worksheets, arts and crafts, and hands-on, pinkies-up practice.

Tisdale's Darling Young Ladies program—a spinoff of her prepageant program—promotes a positive self-image and better social skills. Her Elite Hostess classes help party planners to hone cooking skills, set elegant tables, and turn any conversation into a friendly "soda" versus "pop" debate.
