About Holiday Lights at the Chattanooga Zoo

Get face-to-face with some of the furriest cuties like fennec foxes and meerkats, some of the most dangerous reptiles like Mexican Lance-headed rattlesnakes and Gaboon vipers, and some of the most endangered like the Chinese alligators all at the Chattanooga Zoo, located in downtown Chattanooga. Explore the zoo at your leisure with this admission ticket, and make sure to stop by some of the free events and activities before you leave:

KEEPER CHATS

Want to get to know the animals of the Chattanooga Zoo a little better? Learn fun and interesting facts about your favorite animals at the zoo with with Keeper Chats! Chats are scheduled at different exhibits throughout the zoo each day of the week and are 15 minutes long. Keeper chats are complimentary with regular zoo admission.

ANIMAL SHOWS

Join the Chattanooga Zoo for this season's Animal Shows! Come and enjoy a 30-minute educational presentation from our Zookeepers. Guests will have the opportunity to get closer than before while learning all about these animals and how we work to save them in the wild! Be sure to stick around after the show to meet some of the Zoo's program animals. Offered Saturdays and Sundays April-September at the Education Center.

ZOO TALES

Zoo Tales is a complimentary storytime program offered to all guests each Friday afternoon at 2PM with regular Zoo admission. Zoo Tales encourages youth to read interactively by combining an engaging animal book with a corresponding animal encounter or educational activity. Come and join us as we get lost in a book and learn about our favorite furry friends! We can’t wait to share our stories with you.

FAMILY EVENTS

Come to the zoo during a family event and get the chance to get your face painted, celebrate animals' birthdays, explore the ways the animals communicate, and much more! Zoo Family Events are scheduled throughout each month.
