About Flying Camp

At Flying Camp, people of all ages get to soar through the air in paragliders above the Sequatchie Valley. While USHPA-certified pilots steer all of Flying Camp's tandem flights, guests can also enroll in training programs to become pilots themselves. These classes teach all the fundemental skills of paragliding, such as launching, controlling the glider and safely landing; as well as advanced material like weather forecasting, cross country thermaling, and ridge soaring. Flying Camp is also the place to get flying equipment.
