About Lightwork Photography

Lightwork Photography's owner and principal shutterbug Susan Murtha honed her composition and lighting skills while pursing a photography degree at the University of Delaware, but it's her passion for 3-D design and eye for color that transform each shot into fine art. She and her small crew employ digital Canon SLRs with L-series lenses and blend traditional, lifestyle, and photojournalistic coverage to present a full story of the day’s events. Wedding and lifestyle shoots are the company's specialty, and the crew works tirelessly to capture spontaneous, candid moments without time, location, or hat-height restrictions. Other memory-making opportunities include Trash the Dress? shoots, which encourage newlyweds to explore their playful sides after the big day, as well as fall-foliage sessions that immortalize nature's own colorful ensembles before the trees cast them off into the nearest paintball field.
