About Patron's Hacienda & Sports Bar

The epicurean connoisseurs at Patron’s Hacienda ply palates with tender steaks, traditional Mexican entrees such as enchiladas and tamales, and 56 varieties of tequila. Hand-mashed guac slips onto tortilla chips as diners choose from half a dozen steaks weighing in at 10–20 ounces. Sauces such as the spicy habanero and veracruzana salsa dazzle tongues, especially when poured into the breathing tubes of snorkelers, and ambrosial waves of butter and lime juice conceal sautéed tilapia or jumbo shrimp. Fruit freshly wrung yields juice for the margaritas that fuel salsa dancers’ footwork on Monday nights, and the dining room’s 18 55-inch plasma televisions flicker with NFL games.

The food was good and so was our service. My margarita had taste of too much mixer but enough tequila. The chips brought to the table were good. The sound system and music was good. The place feels a little dumpy though.

Come on a Monday for salsa or Thursday for bachata. Bottles are 150-175 meaning its a much cheaper alternative next time you celebrate something.

They sat us where it was very drafty. We went at about 10pm...it was so dark in the restaurant that we had to use the light on our cellphones to read the menu. The music was cool, but the profanity blaring from the bar side's speakers surprised me.The blender was broken, so we couldn't order frozen drinks. And it literally took 15-20min before any waitress greeted us. The waitress WAS nice, but her visits were few and far between. My steak was good, but my wife's eenchiladas were not very tasty.

Be ware that the coctel de Cameron is served in a super sweet red sauce.
