The tour itself was interesting and fun. But...they took us on an old schoolbus. We had to sit sideways to fit since it was designed for little kids. The windows kept fogging up so we couldn't see anything, but it was freezing cold if we opened them. They need to take an adult-size bus. I really want to take my out of town visitors on the tour, but not under those conditions.

Guide was full of great history and stories. But disappointed that it lacked true locations of ghost activity. We spent lots of time at Congress Hotel but did not go anywhere in hotel where ghost activity actually happened. So in the end tour too long and not enough substance but great stories.

Tour guide said some really ableist stuff.

Great tour -- very knowledgeable guides, give you a great "different"tour of Chicago. My girlfriend is a big HH Holmes fan, so it was great visiting some of the places we read about in "Devil in the White City"

We had an issue with purchasing an extra ticket. We were able to resolve it, but communication was slow and there was a disconnect between administrative staff and the tour guide. I had to deal with this before even going on the tour which put a bad taste in my mouth to start. The tour used a normal yellow school bus rather than a nicer charter bus. The seats were uncomfortable and small. And since you spend a decent amount of time on the bus, I was disappointed as I expected more. The tour guide was great. He knew his stuff, dressed up in character and did a good job of keeping the pace and adding extra information. However, if you have read the book, there wasn't a ton of new information. Additionally, there is not much left of the world's fair or anything tied to HH Holmes. So you need to use your imagination when looking at an old post office to imagine what a hotel with some dark secrets might look like. I'm not really sure who this tour is for. If you're interested in the world's fair and HH Holmes, you will probably know everything that is on the tour. If you're not interested in the fair or Holmes, you'll probably sleep on the bus like many wound up doing. I think the tour could be improved with the assumption that everyone has read the book and done a little google work to find out more. I'd like to know more than just what was already described in detail in the book.

The Roaring 20’s tour was a great night out! The tour guide was charismatic, fun, and made the tour very entertaining!! I had a blast, and the drinks were amazing! The tickets were inexpensive, and it is a great way to spend the night out in Chicago!

We took my 12 yr old sister for her bday and she didn't stop talking about the your the rest of the weekend. She asked if they had any other tours we could do. Jen was our guide and she was very animated and a great storyteller.
