About Lucky Chicken
Latin food is pretty well tread in the U.S. by now, but Lucky Chicken is serving up a lesser known cuisine: Peruvian food. Bringing together Latin American ingredients in a cozy and inviting atmosphere with Spanish, African, Italian, and Japanese inspirations, the large menu showcases many of Peru's most traditional recipes. There are six types of ceviche, including ceviche mixto, a raw seafood dish with lots of bright citrus; the popular lomo saltado, strips of wok-sautéed beef and tomatoes served over rice; Peruvian paellas, yucas huancaina, golden jalea, and the restaurant's namesake chicken, a cage- and hormone-free rotisserie chicken marinated in a secret family recipe and charcoal-cooked.
