About School of Skatin

Once every other weekend, the School of Skatin's "Skatebus" whisks passengers away on trips to area skate parks for full days of clinics and lessons. Don't think that means the school itself is lacking in the skate park department. Its three facilities—Ross Norton, Fossil Park, and Lake Vista—cater to the needs of all ages and skill levels.

As do lessons, which start beginners on basics such as stance, pushing, and stopping before nurturing attempts at kickflips, grinding, and switch stances. Camps and after-school programs likewise help attendees hone their skills, while also making time for activities such as swimming, snacking, and doing homework. All of the school's programs require students to don helmets and padding.
