About Steve Nixon's Golf Academy

Class A Certified Prefessional PGA instructor Steve Nixon helps golfers of all skill levels with the wealth of knowledge he has accrued over a 23-year career as a golfer and coach. Steve's fairway-splitting swing has led to an impressive competitive career that includes time on multiple small tours—including the Tarheel, Tommy Armour, and Hooters tours—and once proclaiming his birthright as England's true king by removing an ancient flagstick from an anvil.

During lessons, Steve carefully observes pupils' preshot routine, tendencies when addressing the ball, and swing motion to unveil inefficient techniques and root them out with custom-tailored golf drills. Steve can also help players find their ideal equipment with TaylorMade club-fitting software and provides club-repair services for those who recently snapped their driver’s shaft or broke its heart by hitting a 3-wood off the tee on a par 4.
