About Expedition Carolina

Departing from the lush, picturesque heart of Devils Fork State Park, Expedition Carolina's guides lead groups out into Lake Jocassee, where they paddle their kayaks and standup paddleboards across the beautiful water and to multiple waterfalls if time permits. Each tour begins with a paddling and safety lesson, during which the experienced instructors illuminate the simple and rewarding sport with a comprehensive overview. Expedition Carolina also carts hikers to the foothills on a shuttle, dropping them at the edge of a complex system of trails to hike, camp, and mark with crumbs.
