Went to spend a birthday weekend in Cocoa. Turned out to be the October weekend that was extremely windy, a mini-hurricane without a name. Even with the storm windows down we enjoyed a few beers and fried shrimp. We will be back and are looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying a milder ocean breeze.

We enjoy the food there because it has some real "local" food we do not find around here. The atmosphere and service are good but I do not appreciate their wine too much. We plan to bring some family members or friends there sometimes. We definitely will order the monster fish taco to surprise them. I mean, the meaning of monster is cute when we saw the food. They surely will like that.

Price of food vs. quantity was not good. Quality of food was simply just there. Was nothing spectaular. If the food would have tasted better, I would have understood the higher price. Service was ok. I normally would tip 20% having worked in the food service business, but the waitress was for lack of a better word, bland. Was like it was a chore to have to serve our table as well as did not really check up or keep drinks filled.

Pizza served burnt and we were told that is the way they make it.
