The museum and site are a wonderful introduction to part of the history of this continent's forgotten and often ignored heritage. Very interesting and informative.

The audio tour was great! Very informative, not too long or strenuous; if you would prefer to drive to a couple of farther mounds you can, or you can take up to a ten-mile hike and several rounds of stairs to the top of Monk's mound. The museum was excellent as well. I particularly enjoyed the part about the research process which I haven't seen elsewhere. Will definitely go back again.

We really liked the Interpretive Center! The audio tour was helpful in understanding the history of mounds and stockades. I wish we knew that the audio tour is for Interpretive Center as well. We toured the center on our own and then when we went to pick up our iPods, we realized they had audio tour for the center as well. We went on two trails as well and saw lots of deer, monarch butterflies.
