About Pizza Hut

In the years since the first Pizza Hut opened in 1958, the company has gone from selling pizzas out of a single location in Wichita, Kansas, to delivering them to the International Space Station. Aside from its outer-space mission to discover a stuffed-crust planet, Pizza Hut focuses on quelling stomach rumbles in more than 90 countries around the world. Each local outpost whips up many varieties of pie, such as traditional cheese, Veggie Lover's, and Meat Lover's, plus extras such as pasta, breadsticks, wings, and desserts.
