"Flavors of India," declares its owners, "is the easiest way to enjoy a visit to the subcontinent without ever having to leave Maryland!" They back up that declaration with proof in the form of a menu stocked with South Indian specialties. Lentil donuts, crispy crepes, and Uthappam—or pancakes topped with tomatoes and peas—are just a handful of the dishes that cater to vegetarian diets. Other specialties, such as chicken tikka curry and keema dosa (lentil crepes filled with spiced ground lamb), sate meat eaters. And while Indian food is the focus, Indo-Chinese entrees such as chicken Manchurian and vegetable hakka noodles, also make an appearance.
